History
Business Process Improvement Solutions for Manufacturers
Established in 1997 under the name CFR Dorchester, Groupe CFR today consists of three companies: CFR Sanitation, CFR Control and CFR Dorchester. The company is located in Sainte-Claire, in Chaudière-Appalaches, approximately 30 minutes from Quebec City.
Over the years, the Groupe CFR team was able to develop, manufacture and integrate many innovative types of equipment for manufacturing, industrial and agroprocessing companies. Its client base consists of cheese factories, meat-packers, flour mills, window and door manufacturers, wood processing plants, plastics, metal products, foundries, etc. Its range of services include industrial equipment custom design and manufacturing, electrical engineering, production line automation, robot integration as well as research and development projects.
Since 2001, Groupe CFR is located in modern custom-built facilities. The activities of Groupe CFR’s three divisions are consolidated under one roof: Groupe CFR offers all the professional services required in the design and manufacturing of automated industrial equipment, maintenance services, and programming and automation services.
